Project Assembly & Submission

  1. Planning notes (topic, Gantt chart timeline, logistical planning).
  2. Investigative research (photographers, technical influences).
  3. Line of development (contact sheets, test images, edit experiments, shoot notes, shortlist, refinements and evidence of critical reflection).
  4. Final 8 prints.
  5. Evaluation.
  1. Label with SQA labels including course, name, candidate number, date of birth, and project title.
  2. Include a candidate welfare statement and tick-box on the flyleaf.
  3. If more than one folder is submitted, mark clearly (e.g. “Book 1 of 2”).
  4. Attach SQA-provided labels to the back of final prints and outer packaging.
  • Ensure secure packaging for safe delivery.
  • Work with your centre to meet the official SQA uplift date.
